30th Anniversary Season Opens With
Arizona Dance Festival 2008

Desert Dance Theatre presents the Arizona Dance Festival at the Tempe Center for the Arts on October 10-11, 2008 at 8:00pm. Each evening will showcase a different set of individual dance artists and emerging artist groups as well as professional companies from all genres and styles of dance. The dance festival will feature Arizona dance artists with special invited dance companies from neighboring states.
Friday Showcase features: Ava Fleming (Middle Eastern Dance), Axxiom Dance Collective, CONDER/dance, Desert Dance Theatre, Dulce Dance Company, Freedom Dance Company, Instinct Dancecorps, Movement Source Dance Company, Westwood & Dancers, Moving Arts Dance, Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre, Southwest Youth Ballet Theatre, & Step's Junk Funk.
Saturday Showcase features: Astarte Belly Dance Troupe, Canyon Movement Company, CONDER/dance, Cultivating Flight (Aerial Dance), Dance Magnificat, Desert Dance Theatre, Dulce Dance Company, Kelly Roth & Dancers, Moving Arts Dance, Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre, Physical Graffiti, Temenos Dance Collective, & Freedom Dance Company.
